PayPerPost Have A Bloody Nerve!
June 15, 2008
Sadly PayPerPost is fast losing my respect and patience. as of right now I have almost $100 sitting in my PPP account but they will not be sending it to me because they keep declining my reviews.
Why is that? Is it because my writing is poor? No. Is it because I have taken the reviews down? No. Is it because I am not linking to the links the advertiser asked? No.
The reason is because I am using other avenues of advertising on my blog.
I currently use Adsense, Adbrite, Clicksor, Kontera, Linkworth and a few others that escape me right now, and PayPerPost have said they are declining my reviews until these advertising avenues have been removed from my blog.
I think it is a bloody liberty for them to tell me what I can and can not have on my blog, who do they think they are, Google?!
I have two blogs listed with them, this one and my Dean Saliba Dot Com blog, although I probably should not be doing this I have decided to remove a lot of he advertisin ro mym Dean Saliba Dot Com blog in a bid to make them happy as it took me bloog ages to get acepted into heir network.
But if you make a nice piece of bunce from advertising then please have a long hard think before you decide whether to join PayPerPost or not.

Help Me Name My New Puppy
May 14, 2008
I had my dog of 13 years put to sleep about ten months ago after it was discovered, during an examination, that she had a tumour in her stomach that had gone undetected and had burst.
Well in the morning I am going to pick up my new puppy, a seven week old purebred staffordshire bull terrier. She is the only one left in the litter and she ether goes to a good home or to the RSPCA who will probably put her down.
She is black with a white patch on her face. My brother’s friend (the guy who breeds these dogs legally) has called it blackie in a lame attempt at humour, living on an estate with lots of ethnic people I can hardly keep on calling her Blackie.
So I am looking for a name for her.
I have racked my brains but can not come up with anything suitable (the best I could come up with was Scruffy after the dog on New Tricks but that sounds daft for a Staff) so I am opening the floor to people.
That is correct, I want you guys to help come up with a name for my new little friend.
To help you I will tell you that:
- She is very friendly and puts her head into everything (don’t leave you bag around or she’ll be in it!)
- She is rather dopey
- She chews anything and everything in sight.
- She loves her food.
If you can think of a name that will suit her then simply leave a comment on my blog and I will paw (pun intended) over the names and announce the result. Your prize shall be that nice warm glow knowing that you helped name my new best friend. ![]()

New Design & Great Free Offer
May 12, 2008
As you will have probably seen (well, if you are a regular visitor at least) I have given the blog a complete makeover with a spanking new design. To be honest the old design was very generic and boring and I thought it needed replacing. I am very happy with the new layout.
I have also monetized the blog a lot better than I did with the previous design. All I have done is used a mixture of Google Adsense (both banners and ad links) and Adbrite adverts. I was careful not to over do things as I did not want the adverts to take the eye away from the content, which is of course why you are here.
Not many other blogs will be willing to do this but if you like the way I have monetized this blog then I have a litle bit of good news. I am giving away the modified version of this template and it is for a price that I think everyone will agree on!
FREE!
That is correct, all I ask in return is that you join my mailing list and I will send you the modified template in a zip file via email.
Joining the list means that you will be kept up to date with the blog, everytime a new blog post or blog page is created people on my list will be automatically emailed and informed about it!

Credit Card Advice Centre
April 23, 2008
A couple of months ago I was on the lookout for a credit card. I’m not sure if you have gone hunting for a credit card issuer before but there are a lot of them, and that is me being very generous here.
When I was looking for a credit card I did not have access to an excellent web site like the Credit card advice centre, which would have made my life a whole lot moe easier.
For people who are not aware of what this web site is about, they are a web site that tries to take the headache out of finding and deciding upon a new cedit card.
By looking at their web site you will discover a wealth of information that will basically make the decision for you. the card issuers are helpfuly listed in sections such as balance transfer rates, low APR rate, no fees, instant approval, cards that offer rewards and even a section for people with bad credit history who wish to obtain a credit card.
If you are on the lookout for a credit card then this web site is surely the only place you should be checking out, it houses all the information that you need, if a credit card company is not listed here then you can take it as gold that it is not any good.
Thankfully my ‘leap of faith’ paid off and I was lucky enough to get the right credit card for me but if there is a next time I’ll certainly check out the Credit card advice centre and I advise you all to do the same.

CNA Training Courses
April 18, 2008
Al Murray often says to women in his stand up comedy act “What do you do sweetheart? Baring in the mind the correct answer is secretary or nurse.” Whilst I can not help you with the former I can certainly help you with the later.
Nursing is something that many people wish to get into but have no idea how to go about it, thansk to a web site called Medical Career Training you can now find out where the nearest cna schools are to where you live.
They have a database on their web site that lists almost all the major (and a lot of minor) schools all over America into States so all you have to do is click on the State that you live in and you will find schools in your area that offer cna training.
And with more and more schools offering cna programs every week I’m sure you’ll find one near you to enroll in.
