Blog Advertising Store: Another Site That Doesn’t Pay

by Dean Saliba on August 16, 2010 · General

Most of you will no doubt be aware that I have a policy when working with networks and companies. That policy is that I like to give networks and companies the benefit of the doubt when I work with them. A lot of the time it works but some times, like now, it can backfire on me and leave me feeling rather stupid.

I first came across Blog Advertising Store when it was going by the name of Paid Post, they then changed their name to Paying Post before finally changing it to their current name of Blog Advertising Store. I’m not sure if they have had more than three name changes.

Some people might point out that any company that changes their name three times in two years obviously should be avoided. Even the $100 payout minimum did not look too off-putting to me.

As I write this I have earnt a total of $116 and even though I have sent them at least half a dozen emails they have not paid me and have ignored every email I’ve sent. And apparently I’m not the only one, nobody has received a payment from them and a quick Google search proves this.

Will I learn something from this? I doubt it. The next time a network comes along with great promises, and an excellently designed web site, I’ll probably still sign up and write about things like sexy costumes because I’m an idiot. :)

Lol, yep, just keep writing. :) Probably most of them are just scams but if you keep on writing then you might just find something that is actually not a scam and does pay you. :P

To be fair not all sponsored post networks are scams. One of them (PayU2Blog) has brought me in almost $2000 alone. ;)

That\’s the thing though, every time a scam is weeded out it gives the others a blackeye and they get labelled as a scam as well.

Me too I got scammed by those idiots.

when I reached 90$ they kept declining all reviews I wrote, they declined more than 5.

after the 5th declined review they canceled my account without paying me.

Those are big scams.

It is really horrible when this happens because there are a few sites out there that do pay reguarly and on time. Check out th link below for a list of them. :)

I heard of them last year ripping people off. Thought they might have improved by now, but your post is on August 2010 and sounds like they haven’t changed their ways. So I best be running from them. Thanks for the share.

Glad to be of help. They will be changing their name any time soon so be on the alert for any new networks that spring up with a similar layout. :)

They have to pay me more than 200$ for a year. They have changed their name but not the attitude towards the blogger. The advertisers are following new method, your in box will flooded orders once there is some considerable amount accumulated they will freeze your account. This was happened to me with Loudlaunch ; as of now they have to pay me more than $650. Simply freezed the account with no reason and they are not ready to give the valid reason for.

I have had no such problems with Loudlaunch, the only problem I have with them is they send me $5 offers for PR5 & PR6 blogs. Their support is rubbish though.
