I think the flex theme is a great one and you should stick with it because you can change so much of the look anyway.
Customise the header and add the feature top sidebar to each page, as well as an image of your free gift. This will increase optins and page views of the offer.
Also, get rid of the adsense, at least in the posts. Either that or change them to be text only. When I open the screen all I see is flashing google ads and it turns me right off.
It’s ok to have adsense, but I would do text only on posts and get rid of sidebar ad altogether and replace with 4 125×125 ads for affiliate offers related to your niche.

Hi Alex, thanks for checking out the blog again and leaving your thoughts.
It is interesting you should mention the Adsense ads. I have been mulling over the possibility of having the units display only text links for a couple of months now.
Since this post was published a few people have complained (not via comments though) about the Adsense flashing images. I think It is probably the right time to try and display only text ads, at least til the end of the month, and see what happens.
Up til about May I had the OIO Publisher plugin installed, and it had 125×125 ad units displayed. But it suddenly stopped displaying ads properly and no amount of tinkering or swearing could fix it.
I’m going to try the WP125 plugin that I’ve heard a lot about.

If I wanted to scare everyone away I’d post a naked picture of me!
The intext ads (InfoLinks, so much better than Kontera) are not a permanent feature. Whenever I find an advertising network I like to try them out for a couple of months to get a feel about them and then write a review about them for the blog.
I’m aware I have far too many advertising networks on here and will be slimming that down by the end of the month. (I seem to want to do everything by the end of the month, August 31st will be a very busy day for me! )

For me, your blog already good. Maybe try to change your theme =)
I’ve had this theme for about a year, maybe a new one is in order. Especially as someone left a comment saying the theme was malfunctioning.
Thanks for the kind words, and the feedback.
