forex trading is interesting, and a lot of friend of mine have made a lot of money using it, but i personally think that it's a bit risky

Even wacko Soros had to start somewhere. Start out with a "paper trading" account that allows you to trade with fake money so you can learn. Just search – they are all over. You need to do this first and do it long enough to really get the hang of it.

Good post. There are a lot of things which is important to be aware of, before starting forex trading. Specially about the leverage! Using 400*leverage will kill your account faster than anything else!
