Blogitive are probably one of the smallest networks on the market, this is mainly due to the fact that the people who run the network seem to have a problem in attracting enough advertisers and quality advertisers to go around.

This means that you could go weeks or even months without getting an opportunity. Which is not very good if you are only going to join this network, but it will go well if you are joining a a collection of them.

I have been part of this network for quite a while now and yet I am not too sure of the rules or even the terms as they do not appear to be clearly marked on the web site. I’m taking this to mean that they are not as stringent with rules as other networks.

The subject matter of the reviews are mainly about gold, forax trading, jobs, drugs, holiday destinations and money related topics. But if you have no problem incorporating these topics into your blog (like me) then this should not prove a stumbling block.

Pros

- Can be good if you want a collection of networks.
- Have not held back payments.
- If a review is not good they will ask you to edit it.

Cons

- Not many offers
- Some consider $5 a review too low.
- Lack of any specific rules and guidelines
- Rather poor customer support
- Takes a while to check your blog.

As I have said if you are looking for one network to work with then you will find bigger and better ones. But if you are looking for another network to add to a collection of them to give you the odd review now and again then Blogitive is perfect.

If you do apply then it would be cool if you emailed them via their contact form and told them deansaliba@hotmail.com referred you. That way we both get something out of it. :)

If you are new to trying to make money from your blog then you will probably have heard many other blogs talking about gaining traffic via social media sites. If you are anything like I was then you are scratching your head and wondering what this kind of thing means.

To put it very basicly; they are big news sites that you can send your blog posts to.

There are many around but the ones I have listed in today’s post are social media sites that offer ‘do follow’ links.

What this means is that when Google looks at the links to decide your page rank any links on the sites below WILL count towards to your total. Unlike ones left on sites like Digg and Del.us

I would like to thank Caroline Middlebrook for allowing me to lift these sites form her informative blog.

The numbers in brackets are page ranks.

I shall try to keep this updated.

February is over and done with. I’m not a big fan of February because on the 14th day of that month people go mental and start declaring their undying love for their partner. You’re meant to do it every day you prat!

I should stop the venting before it gets too out of hand (you can check out my personal blog if you like that kind of thing).

February means that we all have a smaller time frame in order to earn money and that could mean less money for most of us but not for me this month. Not only did I beat last month’s target but I beat it by more than double.

I started this as a little side project in November 2007 to determine if it was at all possible to earn proper money on the internet as many other people have claimed to have done before me.

Page Impressions & Visitor Count

Page Views

Page views have leapt very nicely during February thanks to an increase in free advertising that I have been doing. I’m going to do it again for other blogs I’m running. Don’t worry I shall make a post about at some point this month. :)

This month the number stands at 22,977 which is a massive increase of 15,058 from January. That is over 200% increase!

Unique Visitors

It was not only the page views that shot up during February, the unique visitors leapt up in just as an impressive fashion.

This month the number stands at 20,480, which is a huge increase of 17.669. Which means an amazing 700% increase!

Money! Money! Money!

Adbrite = $1.44 (+$0.50)
Adsense = $4.69 (-$0.40)
AdToll = $0.08 (-$0.02)
CeoAds = $0.36 (New)
Clicksor = $0.03 (-$0.03)
Kontera = $0.00 (-$0.06)
TLA = $11.75 (-$11.75)
Filling In Surveys/Forms = $12.58 (New)
Reviews = $103.00 (+$88.00)

Total: $133.91 (+$83.69)

* I have not used Clicksor a lot this year. I will be trying them out this month.

* I’ve had to remove Kontera from some of my blogs as I make a lot of my money from blog reviews and these review networks refuse to work with blogs who use Kontera.

* I no longer use PayPopUp.

* CeoAds are slowly being removed from all my blogs as they play irritating audio ads without permission.

Very encouraging and I was happy to see that other review networks are starting to offer me work who have not done so since middle of last year (Sponsored Reviews being one).
